Dear NPT

Hello! This is my first time doing NPT and ... this is not in any way a hierarchical list. Some of them I've written before; some of them I've had as gifts, gifts that were absolutely great and make me greedy for more. Any of these fandoms would be wonderful to get for NPT! I'm excited to see what you do!!

THINGS!
I like all kinds of stories, from AU to ... well, everything, basically, except I'm not into A/B/O or Mpreg (except in Mythology because, well, of course.). All kinds of tones, all kinds of tenses, all kinds of formats and POVs. Experimental, straight-forward, whatever! I don't truck with sexual violence and abuse for shock value (COUGH COUGH DAN AND DAVE) or with no narrative point.

My standard LIKE/NO-LIKE:

LIKE: apocafic, both hopeful and bleak; fight scenes that make me ache; snappy dialogue; character studies; narrative-heavy stories; missing moments; AUs both serious and crack; bickering for bickering's sake and UST-y banter; road trips; what-ifs; fix-its; tropes played straight and subverted; canon-compliance; crossovers; original characters; experiments in tone and tense; mood pieces and action-tastic epics; SCIENCE!; friendships romantic and platonic; history stuff; worldbuilding and backstory explorations; that kind of fic where you spend six hours researching something that winds up being two words out of the whole story. I generally prefer canon relationships, unless otherwise specified below, and I am terribly vanilla when it comes to kinks.

NO-LIKE: non- or dub-con, rape, abuse, and/or incest glamorized or done up as ~romance~; a/b/o; gratuitous character-bashing; treating female characters like crap for no reason (but again that goes back to: if it serves the story, as not every story treats its female characters nobly or well). Other than that, it's pretty much all fair game.

But anyway. I'm ishie on AO3 if you want to see my fic and past gifts (♥♥), there's older stuff on ishieland too, and a terribly organized pinboard and a tumblr that might make you cry with how disjointed and capslocky it is.

I'm really sorry if you get matched on Any and don't care for these characters, because they're pretty much all I care about on this show. I'm so sorry. But I love them so much! Together romantically or sexually or just friends, after a falling out, pre-series, one of them's dead and it's an angst-fest, boning, whatever. WHATEVER. (Mostly them being adorable and probably boning? That would be so great but I'm aware that's not in everyone's wheelhouse so no pressure!) I'm so in the tank for both of them, together and separate!

DOCTOR WHO 1963
Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton

Ian/Barbara until the end of time. Anything you want. I love them so much. If you want to have other characters from Old Skool Who drop in or drive the thing or whatever, have at it. Adventure, fluff, mystery, horror, whatever. I've never even found any like sexytimes for them but I'm not opposed, really? THEY WERE BONING THE WHOLE TIME RIGHT? Okay maybe not but the point is &IAN/BARBARA;

GREEK & ROMAN MYTHOLOGY
Circe, Clytemnestra, Medusa, Scylla

I picked the four I'm most interested in, but you don't have to include all of them in the same story!!

Okay, I'm not really a student of Greek or Roman mythology, but I've always been really interested in the pre-Hellenic legends that these stories grew out of, especially the ones that were fundamentally changed to suit the patriarchal culture. BUT ENOUGH ACADEMIC NONSENSE. Basically: what would their stories be if we were told from their POV? They don't necessarily have to be the "good guys" but something centered on them instead of the dudes they encountered would be aaaaawesome.

PUSH
Nick Gant, Cassie Holmes

I am all about any kind of Nick/ or &Cassie. Please if you go the / route, make it way post-movie, like when Cassie's well into her twenties because otherwise ew. If you go & it could be any time! Pull in from the prequel comic if you'd like, I enjoyed it and wish it had made it to a long-term series. The movie is so entertaining. The plot holes don't get too much bigger on subsequent dozens of rewatches. The atmosphere and world-building is ACES. Stuff about fighting Division, rescuing Cassie's mom, just being powered people together somewhere, whatever! (If you bring in any other characters, I will love you. If you bring in Kira and make her more complex than an obstacle or hindrance, I will love you forever.)

ASOIAF
Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Brienne of Tarth, Lady Stoneheart

I picked the four I'm most interested in, but you don't have to include all of them in the same story!!

Here's what I want: ANYTHING. *chinhands* I ship (aged up) Sansa/Sandor, but you don't have to. I like ladies doing things and making decisions and bearing the consequences and not being ruled by men and dealing with being ruled by men and deciding not to be ruled by men anymore and maybe liking being ruled by men. The key here is that the women do the things. The women are not done to. I want happy endings but am perfectly aware that this is not a series for happy endings, so angst and misery is good with me too!

(After the changes made to the show I've stopped watching so I'd really prefer you stay with book canon if possible. I JUST CAN'T DO THE SHOW'S REALITY ANY MORE BECAUSE IT'S TERRIBLE IN WAYS THAT DON'T ACTUALLY MAKE ANY SENSE. Sorry.)

I meant to come back and give some more promptiness but, really, you can do whatever you want! I'm really excited!!
